A nineteen year old Singer/Songwriter from the South of the Netherlands.
After 8 years of piano and keyboard it started about five years ago. One tiny song, the first song she ever wrote, convinced this rather young girl at that time to continue playing music.
This first song was composed with only one keyboard and some singing. But there had to be more. So the money had to roll and instruments like guitars had to be bought. Karlijn tried more and more until she tended to be a little happy with the music she’s making. And that’s where she is now.
Her songs are mostly based on acoustic guitar and sometimes on piano/keyboard. Some say her music sounds a bit like Amy Macdonald, Kate Nash or maybe even like Gavin DeGraw.
But she just sounds like herself.
